John 15:16

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

Today we will be talking about the holy priesthood and its purpose…

The priesthood is a special power given to man by God. It is literally the authorization to use Gods power to perform certain miracles and ordinances. 

Men are given different levels of the priesthood at different stages of their life

Because it is Gods power it cannot defy the will of God though. The priesthood can be used to bless the sacrament, baptize, heal the sick, and perform many other ordinances and miracles if it be the will of God.

Jesus gave his apostles and other leaders of the church his priesthood and that same priesthood is what we use today.

Taking care of temporal needs…

Make sure to invest your money, not just save it. With inflation our money exponentially loses value every year. If you invest the opposite is likely, instead your money will exponentially grow over the years. Yes investing is risky, but would you rather just have a chance at losing money with investing, or be guaranteed to lose money with a savings account?
